WHO Says Philippines ‘Dedicated’ to Vaccine and Vaccine-Resistant Vaccines

The Philippines is dedicated to vaccinating its population of nearly two million people with the country’s first and only vaccine for the coronavirus, the first in the world.

President Benigno Aquino III said Thursday that the Philippines has achieved “dedicated” and “firmly implemented” vaccine and vaccine-resistant vaccination programs.

“I’m very, very proud of the country and the country is dedicated.

The country is completely dedicated,” Aquino told reporters in the capital Manila.

The Philippines has been on the verge of a global pandemic since the beginning of the year, with more than 8,000 new cases and more than 5,000 deaths.

The virus has also forced tens of thousands of people to seek help.
