The most common questions people have about spiritual care are about how they can get the most out of the services, but the right kind of spiritual care is also crucial to a wide range of other issues, according to new research.
Researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison conducted a survey of 1,500 adults who said they were spiritual care worker and were asked about what types of spiritual support they received.
They found that the most common question they asked of the caregivers included how to keep spiritual health and wellness in mind when making decisions about care.
The most commonly asked question was, “What can I do to make sure that my spiritual careworker and I feel cared for and safe?”
While there are a number of things that can go wrong, the researchers say, a number also can go right.
“The more care you have from someone who is caring for you, the less likely it is that you are going to feel hurt,” said Dr. John Rieke, the study’s lead author and associate professor of psychiatry at UW-Madison.
The more you trust someone to be there when you need them, the more likely they are to be able to do the work, he said.
“But if you feel like someone is neglecting you, you’re going to want to know what you can do to get that care back to where it should be.”
The results of the study could help guide mental health professionals and providers to better understand how they might address the needs of workers who care for people with dementia, and provide better strategies to help people who care in rural areas with access to spiritual care.
Researchers from the University Health Network surveyed more than 3,500 spiritual care caregivers, who ranged from seniors in nursing homes to those with developmental disabilities.
They were interviewed in person or over the phone and used questionnaires to collect information about the care they provided, including how they dealt with depression, anxiety and other symptoms.
The answers were also sent to researchers who answered questions about the types of care they received and how it was delivered.
“What are the best ways to help the person who is in a spiritual care environment?
What are the things you can add to their care?
What can you ask them to do?
And what are the other things that you can ask them?” said Dr.”
“Many of them would just say, ‘I know what to say, but I don’t really know what I’m supposed to do.'”””
In general, people felt that they needed to do a lot of research to find out what to do, but that was not always the case,” said David Himmelstein, a UW-Milwaukee doctoral candidate who conducted the research with Dr. Rieske.
“Many of them would just say, ‘I know what to say, but I don’t really know what I’m supposed to do.'”
“I think that we all have an obligation to be more sensitive and attentive to people who have disabilities and their needs, and to make them feel safe and cared for,” Dr. Himmlestein said.
While spiritual care care is an important component of a person’s care, it’s not the only service a person might need.
Some people might need to see a psychiatrist, see a therapist or have a physical therapist.
There are also social workers and other people who might be responsible for the care of people who may need support.
“The most common thing people say is that they feel that they can’t be there and the people are just not listening to them.
And that’s true,” Dr Rieker said.
